Dunedin residents are invited to discuss their public safety issues with their Community Police Officers Monday, May 3, 2010, 6:00-7:30 p.m. at the Dunedin Public Library, 223 Douglas Avenue.  The City of Dunedin and the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office will be hosting the Community Policing Forum. 

The Pinellas County Sherriff’s Department eliminated the Crime Prevention Unit on April 18th, 2010 due to budget cuts.  Services like security surveys may also be discontinued.
