SaleemKamal Saleem, a former member of the PLO who now tours the country speaking out about the dangers of radical Islam will speak on Tuesday April 20th, 7pm at Cong. Beth Shalom in Clearwater.

The event is sponsored by the Jewish Community Relations Council of the Jewish Federation of Pinellas and Pasco Counties, along with B’nai B’rith of Greater Tampa Bay.

Mr. Saleem was born into a large Sunni Muslim family in Lebanon. As he grew up, Kamal was influenced by his mother who taught him that his highest callin g was to be martyred while killing infidels, particularly Americans and Jews. He eventually found himself in a terror training camp run by Yasser Arafat’s PLO, working for Umma – one world under the banner of Islam. After a very severe accident forced Kamal to reevaluate his life and values, he renounced terrorism and ultimately became an American citizen. Mr. Kamal is the author of “The Blood of Lambs”, a book detailing his extraordinary life, which will be available for purchase at the meeting.

This is a free event, but reservations are a must as space is limited. call Stuart Berger at (727) 530-3223, or to register on-line at click here
